Palladium
Palladium more than doubled its private equity fee income between 1 July 2019 and 30 June 2020, despite the impacts of the global pandemic on general dealflow, helping it secure the top spot in both the judges' and public votes. Average income per client grew by 108% as firms including Vitruvian, Permira, Sovereign Capital, Bridgepoint, Palatine and August Equity continued to rely on its diligence services. Palladium’s success in 2019 was also predicated on significant and sustained investment into its insight capability, with a technology stack enabling it to call on over 9 billion lines of social interaction and tap into the billions of google searches and trillions of website visits that take place every day. As a result of its investment in digital analytics, Palladium can identify risks to customer acquisition strategies, as well as untapped opportunities and the costs associated with those opportunities.
Like many other businesses, it’s been a year of ups and downs. For Palladium, it has been mostly ups, with digital propelled to the front of the agenda by many private equity firms and their portfolios. As a result, it’s been our busiest year on record, working with portfolio companies on some ambitious digital programmes and supporting our private equity clients with more deals across more countries than ever before.
