The Deloitte Debt & Capital Advisory team comprises more than 250 debt professionals globally and approximately 80 within the UK, making us the largest debt advisory team operating in the UK and the largest globally. In the UK, the practice grew at 13% in the year to June 2020, advising 57 different private equity houses. This growth was supplemented by the building out of fund finance and infrastructure debt advisory teams. Over the judging period, the team successfully completed 80 transactions in the UK, and over 200 globally, including 27 UK transactions (12 PE backed) that have completed at the height of lockdown. Alongside its Alternative Lender Deal Tracker, Deloitte's proprietary technology platform, Vault, gives the team insight into historical terms and lender behaviours in order to better support its clients’ investment strategies.
